Join us on 18 February at KASK Cinema for a special screening of C’è un soffio di vita soltanto (There’s Only a Breath of Life), an intimate documentary that explores the resilience of personal memory in the face of historical trauma. The film tells the story of Lucy Salani, the only Italian transgender survivor of the Nazi concentration camps, whose life journey intertwines with some of the darkest chapters of 20th-century history. Through Lucy’s narrative, the film invites reflection on identity, resistance, and the importance of preserving memory as a tool for understanding both personal and collective histories. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the film directors, Matteo Botrugno and Daniele Coluccini. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend.
